For thousands of years women around the world have come together in circles to share, to teach, to listen, to learn, to dance. The pulse of these women still beats within us, and on the night of December 7, the women will offer some awesome beats for us to dance, connect, and heal to, bringing forth an ancient way of connecting into modern times. Let's DANCE!
The intent of this event Khromata Nights 6: Return to the Circle is to give a platform for women identifying folks in dance music to share their creativity and to create a space to empower up and coming and established women to showcase their talents, in unity.

KIRAZ (Solartech Records, Sweden) (Psy Prog) Kiraz first made her mark on the electronic music scene as a DJ in Tokyo between 2010 and 2013, where she regularly played some of the biggest clubs and festivals in and around the city. Over the last few years this Swedish-born artist has also been gaining attention in the U.S. becoming a resident at top performing nightclub Exchange LA. After her success as a DJ, Kiraz delved in to the art of music production and had her first release on Iono Records in April of 2017. Her continuous dedication to and love for the psychedelic trance sound shines through in her DJ sets, and she conveys that energy and emotion to her audience through her music.
DIGITAL HIPPIE (Zero1 Music/Shiva Valley Rec, Goa,India) (psytrance, full-on) Digital Hippie is a California girl with an Indian heart. In the early millennium, she fell in love with the Goa scene, and set her mind on making a name for herself in the music industry.
A former fashion designer who ran her own successful resort label, Savitha Bala dropped everything in pursuit of her true passion. Getting her first break in Hollywood in 2006, Digital Hippie has never looked back. Spinning her unique organic style, this versatile DJ is quickly garnering a reputation for playing powerful, intelligent electronica that gets the party started. She regularly sets the dance floor ablaze at clubs and outdoor venues across the Indian subcontinent, North America, the UK and Europe. She has most recently shared the stage with such legends as Tristan, Earthling, Dickster, Laughing Buddha, Sonic Species, Ajja, E-Clip, Ace Ventura, Emok, Liquid Soul, and many more.
Digital Hippie has been with Los Angeles based label Fried Beats Music since 2007, and signed with UK/Goa based label Shiva Valley Records in 2011. She is currently working hard as a producer, and looks forward to releasing her first EP later this year.
SERENDIPITY (Star Camp Shasta, USA) (forest, dark) Rosie AKA Serendipity was born into a very musical family. There was always a song being sung or an instrument being played in the house for as long as she can remember. Her early ventures in music included musical theatre, cello, and recorder. During her teenage years, she had the privilege of learning the art of flamenco guitar from artist and composer Maria Zemantauski. Her explorations in flamenco lead her to realize her desire to focus on rhythm and dance oriented music. She began collecting vinyl in 2006 after a trip to Europe introduced her to the world of electronic dance music. It was soon after that she began learning how to mix tracks and gradually refine her taste in music. After much experimentation and evolution, her path led her to psytrance, where she finally felt like she had found her musical home.
KHROMATA (Iboga Records, SF) (prog) A world of sound at her fingertips, Khromata stands in the vanguard of storytelling and sensory manipulation in the modern era. With a finger on the pulse of the global electronica scene, she draws the essence of tech-driven music to the surface with DJ sets inspired by the sounds of the underground.
Following years of experience playing shows and festivals around the world, Khromata now brings her versatile and spirited approach to sound weaving to Iboga Records. Driven by fun, energy and technical purity, she cannot be summarized by any single set or sound, making every Khromata performance an intoxicating, one-of-a-kind experience.
Khromata has headlined shows around the United States and Canada, and has been direct support for legendary artists, playing opening and closing sets for acts such as Astrix, Liquid Soul, Perfect Stranger, Captain Hook, Ticon, Emok, Critical Choice, Atmos, Mad Maxx, Gaspard, Hypnoise, Deedrah, and more.
Khromata has played shows across the States and the world, a few highlight venues include KB18 kødboderne in Denmark, and Fabrika.bar in Ukraine. Highlight gigs include the Iboga Records and FM Booking Hologram Show at Dreamstate SoCal, Symbiosis Gathering's Oregon Eclipse, six consecutive years at the How Weird Street Faire in San Francisco, Dreamstate Mexico, Astral Harvest festival in Canada, Psytribe's Spring Frequency, Pulse Family Gathering, and Panama Tribal Gathering.
Khromata has been throwing her own events, Khromata Nights, in San Francisco, California. So far she has featured S>Range, Martin Vice, DJ Emok, and Jirah.
DJ JOSIE (house, techno) (club debut!) Josie McElroy is a new DJ, excited to make her debut tonight along with her mentor DJ Khromata. Josie is not new to the music scene - as a classically trained cellist, Josie learned music theory at a young age and has performed frequently as a soloist, listing Dvorak as one of her favorite composers. Over the last few years, Josie discovered House Music, and can be seen house dancing at the famous Cardiff in Campbell, CA. She has traveled the world seeking underground music at clubs like Berghain. Josie was introduced to Psytrance at How Weird 2014, where she randomly walked by the Pulse Alley Stage and never didn't leave until 8 hours later. Her passion for house, techno, and Psytrance are inspired by Dubfire, Scotty boy, Derrick Carter, Richie Hawtin, Cirez D, and Khromata.
